Described as, "technically brilliant," by Dance Magazine, Mónica is an experienced, professional Flamenco dancer and instructor who along with her touring schedule, teaches master classes and gives lecture-demonstrations. She has performed in many fiestas throughout Southern Spain, including La Bienal de Arte Flamenco and La Feria de Sevilla. Her choreographies and style are influenced by her studies with many renowned Flamenco artists such as Eva "La Yerbabuena", Ciro, Antonio Canales, Mario Maya, Juana Amaya, Farruquita, Belen Maya & others.  In the Fall of 2005, she present "Una Noche en Andalucia" at the Cowell Theatre in San Francisco and at the Dinkelspiel in Stanford.  In Summer 2006, she presented her dance company, Pasión Flamenca, in the San Francisco Ethnic Dance Festival at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco.

Mónica currently teaches classes at the San Francisco Dance Center.
